ORIGINAL POST FROM 8/8/09:Tomorrow (it's 1 PM here so really later today), the supergroup Them Crooked Vultures will make their debut upon the world.
The group apparently has been mentioned but unnamed for years and features some of the best musicians of our era and the era of yesterday.

Dave Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters fame.
Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age and Eagles of Death Metal.
John Paul Jones, the bassist of the greatest rock & roll band of all time, Led Zeppelin.
Read more here. I don't even know what to expect but the doors open at 10. I'll let you know what I hear about them.

UPDATE:
THEM CROOKED VULTURES PLAY LAST NIGHT AT 10 O'CLOCK. However, it seems like only a guy over at stereogum had the time or the courtesy to give us a review. Check out the full article here. Apparently they sounded a bit more like Josh Homme's Queens of the Stone Age than the other guys main bands. Also, they banned electronic devices so little recordings exist of the show. You could head over to YouTube like I just did but I promise you there is nothing with quality over there.
