I kept seeing these guys' name so I decided to check them out. The Bloody Beetroots. Cool name. The music is also "cool" but I can't seem to figure them out exactly. (By the way those masks are their normal apparel).
First of all is the question of, "When would my readers want to listen to this type of music?" Answer: when they are under the influence of one or more illegal substances haha.
Take a listen to their song that was on the FIFA 09 soundtrack (fitting cuz they are from Italy). The Bloody Beetroots - Butter.
It's also music that makes you want to dance, being that they are DJs. And its very entertaining... it's just like I'm not sure when I'm ever gonna be hosting a rave and want to hear music like this... maybe a Techno Tuesday party?
Maybe it's good work out music. Not sure yet but I'm gonna test it out.
Regardless, I find this music very interesting to listen to and it bridges some sort of genre gap between house and pop. Their CD Romborama (which is 1.3 hours long according to my iTunes) comes out August 21st and I would definitely suggest it if you are a musically adventurous individual. If anything else it will make you tap your feet (and scratch your head).
Hope you enjoy their music. If not, at least you can judge now for yourself whether the hype is deserved or not haha.
